Lynn Valley Archive and Park

The Lynn Valley school precinct on Mountain Highway is defined by the new Lynn Valley Elementary School on the North, Lynn Valley Childcare on the South, and by the original Lynn Valley Elementary School on the East that has now been fully restored and is now the home of the North Shore Museum and Archives. eckford + associates was commissioned to design a public open space that would unify the precinct. Public art has been carefully integrated into the overall concept and is central to the development of a design vocabulary that recalls the history of the neighbourhood
