Nineteen Mile Creek
Nineteen Mile Creek is a response to the need to provide quality affordable staff housing for long term employees of the Whistler Resort Community. This 150 unit residential housing development in Alpine Meadows is organized around an existing spring fed stream and a reestablished pond. Flood mitigation has been provided along the creek edge and allows for a pedestrian connection from the Alpine Meadows neighbourhood to the school and public amenities. The gracious open space is the central unifying element providing structure, character, and storm water management for the development.
