Expo Boulevard Social & Supportive Housing

As one of a series of projects initiated by the City of Vancouver to fulfill its commitment to provide housing for people at risk and supportive housing, the Expo Boulevard project will house 120 people. The irregular site shape and high profile location in the Yaletown neighbourhood demands a creative and highly resolved response. We have designed a sequence of open spaces that respond to the internal program and provide outdoor amenities including communal gathering spaces, garden plots, and an outdoor gallery overlooking the vibrant streetscape. A comprehensive sustainability package has been compiled to achieve the required LEED Gold certification.
